The Malaysia International Dive Expo (MIDE) is the one and only 100% home-grown expo that’s been running annually since 2006. Highly respectable and internationally recognised, MIDE continues to welcome major industry players and divers globally to Malaysia.
Focused on the business of diving and building the awareness of scuba diving, as well as educating the public on marine conservation and other related environmental issues, MIDE’s aim is to bring together the trade and industry players, to not only promote the sport of scuba diving, the business opportunities associated with it, but also to help position Malaysia as a must-visit dive destination.
MIDE’s core objective is to create awareness of the business of diving by positioning Malaysia as a leading dive destination and business hub for the industry. MIDE’s mission is to boost the dive industry and position Malaysia to ensure that the local dive industry reaches its full potential in terms of growth, recognition and revenue.
The expo also promotes Malaysia as one of the world’s leading and most attractive dive destinations featuring some of the world’s richest marine environments.
Part of MIDE’s accomplishments is also being recognised and awarded at the Business Events Excellence Award 2018 on 10 October 2018 from the Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS).
